Welcome to RareBrew. RareBrew is an independent, non-commercial tool for building Magic: The Gathering Commander decks. By using the service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
These terms are written in plain language for a small, pre-launch project. They are not legal advice.
What RareBrew is
RareBrew helps you build, organize, and analyze Commander decks for paper play. Card data is sourced from third-party APIs (Scryfall and EDHREC). RareBrew is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Wizards of the Coast, Scryfall, or EDHREC.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm you have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
Your account
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for any activity under your account. Authentication is handled by Supabase; see their terms if you sign in through a third-party provider.
Acceptable use
Don't use RareBrew to:
- break the law or harm others
- scrape, mirror, or republish data from RareBrew or its underlying APIs in violation of those APIs' terms
- attempt to compromise the service, other users, or its infrastructure
- upload malicious content or attempt to abuse storage or compute
Your content
Decks, tags, and notes you create stay yours. You grant RareBrew the limited permission needed to store and display that content back to you as part of operating the service. We don't sell your content, and we don't use it to train models.
Third-party data and IP
Magic: The Gathering, card names, card images, and related trademarks are property of Wizards of the Coast. RareBrew uses this data under fair-use principles to function as a deckbuilding tool. If you are a rights holder and have a concern, please contact us.
Service availability
RareBrew is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, including wiping the database during early development. Back up anything you can't afford to lose.
Termination
You can stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the service.
Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RareBrew is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee that card data, prices, legality information, or analytics are accurate or current.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RareBrew and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of your use of the service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the project evolves. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
